The Inn Home Support Program was established as a means to provide support to persons who are presently housed, often in somewhat precarious situations. Many clients/participants were homeless in the past.
Clients are vulnerable individuals who would benefit for a one-on-one relationship with a caring volunteer. Volunteer Advocates of the Inn Home Support Program assist these clients through a range of activities (i.e., driving to appointments, sharing a coffee, going for walks, etc.) based on the interests and schedules of both the client and the Advocate. Generally, this support will involve a one to two hour get together every week or two weeks.
